A Few Recent Pages

I was able to spend a few days scrappin' with my sister, Jan (who has some awesome talent...check out her blog http://ascript4scrappin.blogspot.com/). Here are a few pages:

This is a page I created for the Chirper Challenge DT (but I didn't get this emailed in time to meet the deadline...). We were to have an interactive page. The next picture shows how the tag slides out from behind the picture. The picture is how I found Noah and Chloe one Saturday morning. This is a picture of us at the petting zoo.

This is the first page I did while at Jan's....not very good. I wasn't in my groove yet. I almost didn't post these two pages...but why not, every page isn't a masterpiece.

Chloe came and "helped me" with this page. The white thingy before the Love....she insisted that is go there. So I put it there :)

This is a picture of Chloe outside Ed's hospital room from when he was in the hospital with his head injury in April. Isn't she cute!?!

I'm back!!

I have been away from home for 2 weeks and I am so glad to be home. I spent yesterday doing laundry and cleaning the house. Today, I plan to organize My Happy Place (scrap room). Check out these pictures! What a mess!

I got flocked!

Ed woke me up at 5:30 Thursday morning...to drag me out side to find we'd been flocked. There were about 60 plastic flamingos, the sign and a paper that said (paraphrasing here) for $5 the youth group would come pick them up, for $10 we could pick who'd be the next to get flocked, or for $15 we could pick who'd be next and it would be insurance that the flock would not return to our yard. (Great fundraiser for church, huh!?!) So I laughed, went back to bed, and around noon, Noah and Chloe and I loaded them in a tub. I drove over to Don's house and Chloe and I "flocked" Don's yard..hehe....while NOah sat in the car going on about we shouldn't be doing this and this was wrong and so on....hehehe!! Watch out...you might be next!

My Little Snow Man

This is a page I completed for the Chirper Challenge that I design for. We were assigned to explore the cartridge that came with our Cricut. So I used the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. The picture is of Noah playing in the snow in January.

Cute All-American Girl

Won't this picture be awesome to scrapbook?? We had a very relaxing 4th. We enjoyed a fish fry with our neighbors and friends. When some parachutes landed in the pasture, Chloe climbed the fence to go get them. She's so cute!!

A Few Scrap Pages

Here are a few pages I did while at Jan's house for a few days. These pics were taken August of 2007 when we went to Niagara Falls.

I journaled on the calendar piece after I took the picture and decided I was too lazy to take another picture :)

I added a bit of journaling under the top picture.

I added journaling on the top gray piece.

Chloe helped me with the rub ons on the title. Then she wanted to know what it said. So I told her to sound it out and she did! She read the title :)

The beautiful and bottom swirly are glittery...wish they showed up better :(

We came, We saw...We took pictures. Gwen and I say that all the time. So I thought it would be an appropriate title.

I love the glittery paper this is on!!

Happy Anniversary!

Today is our 8th wedding anniversary so Ed and I celebrated by going to dinner and a movie. We saw Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. Funny movie....loved it. (Thanks Ma for watching the kids! )

Chloe's 4 year old pictures

Yeah, I know, these pictures were taken almost a year ago! But hey, at least I'm trying to get my scrapping caught up! I scrapbooked a bunch of pages with Jan last week so I'll try to post some of them before I leave Friday for a week of camp!

She rides!

We found this Princess bike yesterday at a yard sale for $5. Just what she needed to learn how to ride....no training wheels!! We started in the yard and 30 mins. later she was riding on the concrete at Uncle Tim's like a pro. She can start, stop and ride as far as she wants...all in one night! Atta girl!

SO Proud!

I'm so proud of my boy! He just finished reading bedtime stories to his sister! He just finished kindergarten and can read like you wouldn't believe. I guess all those nights of reading to him and all the time we spent learning how our language works has paid off! Ok, gotta go tuck them in....he's finished reading it (3 times!!!).....

Happy Now?

Is what I asked Noah when he finally got his way and we rode the train at the zoo! My goal is 2 pages a day/5 days a week....but I'm tired and am only doing 1 today. Guess I better catch up this weekend!

Zoo Fun

Here are 2 pages I created today....in my quest for creating 10 pages a week for the summer. These pictures were taken August 11, 2008. Yep, I'm still WAY behind. (I've scrapbooked 1 page from 09 and it's May!!) The background paper is glittery and so are the tags....but none of that shows in my pics...sniff, sniff!

We were going to put the pool up for the kids but it is rainy and muddy...ugh! So I am going to spend the day inside cleaning my scrap room. It desperately needs it! Here is a card we made in my scrapbooking class a few weeks ago.

Together Layout

Here is a layout I finished tonight. I decided to use Paint to color in the kids. The pictures were taken September 10, 2008. So, yep, I'm way behind in my scrapbooking but who cares!?! This was a super quick page. Hope you like it!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! We went to church this morning. After church, we went to eat pizza with my mom and dad. Then we went to Michael's (I bought nothing!) and Target. We got home at 4:00 and napped until 6:00. Then I exercised, watched Without a Trace (I love this DVR thing!), and ate supper. Here I am reading to the kids before bedtime....my only Mother's Day pics. Guess they'll have to do! I look terrible! Then after putting the kids to bed, I made a scrapbook page. Will post it later this week...maybe!

New Stampin' Up! Demo

Yep! I signed up to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I love, love, love SU! products. I have been having so much fun playing with my new things. Here are a few things I made:

This was a sympathy card I created. I used the Very Versatile stamp set (available only until June 30 in the Occasions mini catalog) and Chocolate Chip ribbon, Choc. Chip ink, Kiwi Kiss ink, and Baja Breeze ink.

This card uses the Pocket Silhouettes for the weeds (as my husband says!) and Very Versatile for the sentiment. I used So Saffron ink for the sun, Baja Breeze and Pacific Point inks for the sky and Kiwi Kiss for the Weeds!

Chloe's New Do

You know I'll have to scrapbook this! She just looks so cute! Ok, I'm off to go clean something....I'm in a spring cleaning mood!
