More Scrappin' Pages....

This is a page about when Noah got his bunkbeds right before starting kindergarten. I haven't added the journaling yet. Oops!
Chloe was helping me this summer to make the beds. She really wasn't much help!! My friend Cheri challenged me to use that stinking Teardrop Cricut cartridge (for the title) that I said I hated and wouldn't you know, I don't quite hate it anymore. Go figure!

Love

This is a picture that Noah took of me and my honey on our 7th anniversary. We went out to eat at Red Lobster! Yummy! And no trip is complete without a trip to Hobby Lobby and Archiver's. Noah took this picture of us when we got home....not a bad pic for a 5 year old!

Scary Day!

I took Chloe to a dermatoligist today for these raised spots on the inside of her right thigh, the outside of her left thigh and 2 "bumps" on her belly. I had been to her pediatrician in January and he didn't know what it was but prescribed some cream that did NOTHING! Mom convinced me to go see a dermatoligist. The doctor looked at her legs and thought it was "significant" and thought she would need a biopsy. He also thought I should see another derm. down the hall. So off we went to the 2nd dr. She got us right in and looked and looked. She left for a moment and came back with a 3rd dr.! He looked and they talked for a few moments about what it definitely wasn't. They think that it is just the way her skin is in that place, kinda like a birthmark, that her skin formed that way in the womb. It is not on the surface or 1st layer of her skin (which I knew and that's why no cream worked and why I knew it wasn't an allergy) but in the 2nd layer of her skin. Which is how I described it to people, like the bumps were under her skin and pushing up on the skin! LOL! The 3rd dr. said, from the point of view of a dad, that her suitors will never notice and when she gets a tan she will just have to put some tan cream on it because it probably won't tan. :) (I bet he is a great daddy with the way he thinks!:) )They gave me the number of a pediatric derm. to call. So while my mind is at rest and and I can stop panicking after hearing a "significant" problem, I may schedule another appt. just to give my mind some assurance that my baby girl is OK!

UPDATE: I was fixing my hair the other day and looked in the mirror and guess what I saw!! I have those same bumps on my left arm really close to my armpit. I had noticed them a long time ago but forgot about them because you just don't look at that part of your arm often. So I guess the derm. guy was right....it is hereditary and she got them from me!!

Big Boy

This is a page about Noah and realizing that he is a big boy and not just my little boy anymore.

The journaling will go on the lines. I wrote a note June 24 that says, "I can't believe how much you have grown recently. We went camping last weekend and you slept in your little tent all by yourself! When it rained early in the morning, I expected to hear you cry out. Not a peep! When we got back, I decided to wash everything. Yesterday, as I was washing all your blankets from your toddler bed, you told me to pack them away, you were done with them. You said I could give them to someone who needed them. You are growing up and you are so kind and compassionate. My baby boy is gone. I love you my son, Mom."

My Girl

I went to a scrappin' retreat last weekend. What a blast! I got quite a bit done. Here's the first one. I had 2 random pics of Chloe from late this summer so I put them on a page. I haven't written anything yet. It will go on the lines in the corner.

I'll add more pages later....I'm off to bed for now!

My Scrappin' Partner

Ed had to take a test last week for his job. He sat up in my scrapbook room while I scrapbooked. He never comes in my room. He hates the Cricut Green walls! LOL! I had to sacrifice turning off my music while he completed the test but it was worth having him in there!

How do I find time to scrap???

I have had people ask me how I have time to scrap since I work full time and have a 4 year old and 5 year old.......Easy! The kids entertain themselves and of course, they have to be in the same room with me. So while they were playing "Guess Who?" I was busy creating the "So Spoiled" page. I copied this page from Amy at http://janellerichmond.typepad.com/sketchthis/

I used Opposites Attract Cricut cartridge for the title and Mini Monograms Cricut Cartridge for the circle and scalloped circle. Paper is my My Mind's Eye. Cardstock is Bazzill.
